CLASSES
Diverse learning environments
Pre-school (Ages 3-4)
Drop-in or set classes for guided exploratory play and learning.
Drop in classes- a one hour drop in class where children can engage in a guided, sensory class to encourage development.
10 classes- for children preparing for Kindergarten and schooling. Introduction to the English alphabet, numbers, shapes, as well as adapting into a classroom environment.
Pre-K to Kindergarten
(Ages 4-6)
Individual or small-group classes tailored to build and strengthen learning and development foundations.
Book reading, printing, phonics, early introduction to math (addition & subtraction).
Elementary
Grades 1-7
Individualized classes to prepare students for their current academic level and to seamlessly transition them into the next grades.
Math, English, French, Social Studies, Science, Religion.

In order to create a well-rounded understanding of different concepts, our skilled teachers use an array of strategies to help your child find math fun.
English:
Customized classes to help build confidence and fluency in concepts they struggle with. We teach the following: phonics (word patterns, letter blends), vocabulary, reading, writing (introduction to paragraph composition), grammar, penmanship, and daily journal writing.
Reading Log Challenge:
A monthly reading challenge for kids to spark their love for reading. Here at The Learning Cloud, we believe in the many benefits that reading brings to children, so we encourage them to read as much as possible from an early age.

Social/Science: school curriculum support
Highschool
Individualized classes with guided homework and assignment support, as well as an accelerated learning program to prepare students for entering post-secondary
We understand as educators that high school is a time of transition towards becoming a young adult. We wish to nurture positive attitudes towards life-long learning and to build confidence in students.
Adults
For adults learning English as a second language. Daily conversational skills, as well as vocabulary.
It’s never too late to learn another language! Learn how to engage in real-life day to day conversations with growing vocabulary and improved grammar.
French Language Classes
Individualized French language classes that parallel vocabulary, phrases, conjugation and grammar taught in school. Practice listening, speaking skills and pronunciation.
Chinese Language Classes
Individualized Cantonese and Mandarin classes curated to help strengthen one's understanding of Chinese culture and language. Learn how to read, write and communicate using Chinese.
Japanese Language Classes
Individualized Japanese language classes that include reading, writing, speaking skills, pronunciation and listening practice.
Chess Lessons
Learn the timeless game of chess. Chess develops spatial and strategic thinking, and aids in building focused concentration. Beginners learn basic game rules and opening tactic moves. Intermediate learners move on to learning sophisticated combinations and strategies as well as advanced opening moves.
Lego & Coding Classes
Intro to Building Lego with S.T.E.M. Building (Science, Technology, Engineering Math). Learn to build, plan ahead, think spatially and creatively. Coding for Lego building movement is also included. The WeDo Lego curriculum will be followed. Suitable for ages 3+
Arts & Crafts
Enhance fine motor skills through cutting and pasting. Each class children will be able to create a craft and learn some fun facts!
